Most results from WAC inventory (1971). Some obtained from the Max-Planck-Institut für Züchtungsforschung. Method described by Ross & Huijsman (1969; Theor. Appl. Genet. 39: 113-122). In the root ball test only the outside of the root ball is screened. Some results from INRA (Rousselle-Bourgeois & Mugniery, 1995; Potato Res. 38:241-249). The resistance to RO1 is controlled by a single dominant gene.
