Dataset background

This selection lists all CGN lettuce accessions (cultivated and wild relatives) for which whole genome sequencing data are available. The sequencing data are available from different studies and projects. Publications by Wei et al. (2021); Xiong et al., 2023a; Xiong et al., 2023b; van Workum et al. (2024) and a dataset resulting from a research project (TKI-ILGC). The Excel file with background information summarizes all available genomic data for CGN lettuce accessions and provides links to associated publications and data repositories where sequence reads can be downloaded.

For most sequenced CGN accessions Single Seed Descent (SSD) lines are available that have been propagated for research purposes (see Excel file). These SSD lines are available as a special collection from the CGN website. The SSD lines cannot be obtained through this CGN ordering system.
