Dataset background

A collection of ~500 Single Seed Descent (SSD) lines of cultivated lettuce and crop wild relatives was developed from CGN accessions as part of a TKI project. These SSD lines have been given TKI-numbers. Wei et al. (2021) resequenced 445 SSD lines to study lettuce domestication history.

The SSD lines used in this study have been propagated for research purposes and are available as a special collection. The SSD lines cannot be obtained through this CGN ordering system.

Important notes to genotype data

1. The Excel file that can be downloaded below summarizes all available genomic data for CGN lettuce accessions. It also helps link CGN accessions to their derived SSD lines (TKI-numbers) and associated sequences.
2. Reseqencing data were deposited and can be obtained from the Sequence Read Archive (SRA; BioProject acc nr: PRJNA693894) and the CNGB Nucleotide Sequence Archive (CNSA) under Project ID CNP0000335.
